Children at the Miracle Tabernacle Free Town Church of God of Prophecy and environs were treated to school supplies on Sunday.
The annual back-to-school treat was made possible through the kind donations from friends of the church.
Among the items given out were backpacks courtesy of LIME and Supreme Ventures, notebooks, pens, pencils, pens courtesy of D-Empire Management, Ruby Turner, Paul Chin, Mark Steele, Fam Records, Jamaica Canadian Association, Roschelle McKenzie, Scratchylous, Jeannette Bayardelle, Bashco and Headline Entertainment.
“We are grateful for the people who in spite of the challenges keep giving and giving so that we can help to ease the back to school burden. The least we can do is precious in God’s sight,” said lay minister and Sunday School teacher Valrie Campbell-James.
